This week’s big new release is Misbehaviour, directed by Bristol’s very own Philippa Lowthorpe (go here for our interview). Philippa will be present for Q&As after screenings at the Everyman on Friday and Watershed on Sunday.
Also on the flying the local flag front, you can still catch ‘cabin in the (Wotton-under-Edge) woods’ horror Sacrilege from Bristol’s Bad Blood films exclusively at the Cineworld in Hengrove. Go here for our news story on this one.
The latest word from the Bristol Film Festival is that all their events, including this weekend’s Underground Cinema in Redcliffe Caves, are still going ahead – with suitable virus-repelling precautions being taken. That’s just as well, as many of them are already sold out.
