“Why did the eagles and vultures attacked?” demanded the flyer for this strikingly inept, self-financed eco-thriller, showcasing the professionalism and attention to detail that characterised the entire project.
Hailed as one of the worst films of all time, with some of the shoddiest CGI effects ever seen, this well-meaning eco-thriller tells the story of Victoria’s Secret model Nathalie (Whitney Moore) and software salesman Rod (Alan Bagh) whose small town is besieged by killer eagles. How come? Well, it seems the birdies have been driven bonkers by climate change, Mysteriously, this also causes them to cause wildfires, spray acid and explode on impact. More utter cock than Hitchcockian, it’s a treat for those who prefer their environmental warnings to be unintentionally hilarious.
Proceeds from this Bristol Bad Film Club screening will be donated to the Bristol Sea Bin Campaign. Go here for tickets.
