Following the underwhelming likes of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Guy Ritchie attempts to recapture the spirit of his more successful early films (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, etc) with this crime caper centred on an American expat dope dealer (Matthew McConaughey) living in London.
All and sundry have pitched up to join in (Colin Farrell, Eddie Marsan, Charlie Hunnam, etc). Downton‘s Michelle Dockery gives it her best Essex Girl, while – gorblimey! – Hugh Grant tries out a Cockney accent.
