Pixar’s first non-sequel since Coco in 2017 (they cleaned up with Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4 in the intervening period) is the tale of two teenage elf brothers, voiced by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, who set off on a journey through what’s billed as a suburban fantasy world on a quest to find out if there’s any magic left in the world.
How come? Hankies at the ready: their plan is to bring back their deceased father for 24 hours. The director is Dan Scanlon, who gave us Monsters University, and the story was inspired by the death of his own father.
