The Lighthouse
A much-acclaimed, genuinely creepy period arthouse horror flick from the director of The Witch
There’s a strong crop of new releases this week, including Queen & Slim (go here for our review) – aka “the black Bonnie and Clyde”) – the justly lauded The Lighthouse (go here for our review) and Clint Eastwood’s latest film, Richard Jewell (go here for our review).
Many cinemas have previews of Dolittle at the weekend, while the Watershed and Everyman also have previews of the Oscar nominated Parasite, with a director Q&A by satellite, on Monday.
Two new seasons kick off at the Watershed this week too: the splendid Hell is Other People, to complement the release of Parasite, and the Japan Foudnation’s annual touring film programme.
