Alan Parker‘s jolly, Oscar-nominated (for its songs) 1976 custard pie/’splurge gun’ comedy gangster musical returns to the screen. Watch out for a young Jodie Foster as sultry moll and chanteuse Tallulah.

It’s shown as part of the Curzon’s Big Thank You Weekend. Nippers are encouraged to dress up in their best 1920s gangster garb for a special photo booth run by Room 42 Photographic Studio. Period props are available and participants will be invited to show off their styles on social media with #bigthankyou. Note that although admission is free you do need to reserve tickets in advance.
