The first half of this Royal Ballet double bill is Cathy Marston‘s debut work for the Main Stage, which is inspired by the life and career of the great cellist Jacqueline du Pré. This is followed by Jerome Robbins’ elegant exercise in pure dance for five couples, set to music by Chopin.

The programme is broadcast live to cinemas on February 25, with encore screenings to follow.
