Curzon & Sunset Cinema: Fisherman’s Friends + live music
Outdoor screening of this true-life Britcom about a bunch of sea shanty singing fishermen
We’re in between blockbusters this week as the decks are cleared for IT: Chapter Two, which opens next Friday. Many multiplexes have a double bill of this and the first chapter on Thursday night, if you’re really keen.
That gives some smaller films the chance to make their mark, including the much-acclaimed, locally produced Bait and the latest Timothy Spall daubfest, Mrs Lowry and Son.
Elsewhere, there’s plenty more outdoor cinema, marathon screenings of the entire Matrix trilogy 4K remasters, and the outstanding Fish Tank kicks off the Encounters festival alumni season at the Watershed.
Follow the links below for more info and screening times for all this and more and go here for our comprehensive film listings.
