Tolkien
Disney-distributed formative years biopic of Mr. Lord of the Rings
If you’ve already seen Avengers: Endgame, or have no intention of doing so, you may be interested to know that other films are available. You just have to look a little harder than usual to find them.
This week brings a whole bunch of smaller new releases including that Tolkien biopic, pop star satire Vox Lux, the latest talking dog flick (A Dog’s Journey), yet another entry in the Conjuring Universe (The Curse of La Llorona) and arthouse crossover Bundyfest Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Oh, and if you’re after something gentle that’s absolutely guaranteed to be free of explosions and lycra, look no further than the ongoing Hirokazu Kore-eda season.
