US serial killer Ted Bundy’s tally of biopics continues to rise (four TV movies and, er, Ted Bundy, if you’re counting) with this new drama adapted from his former girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer’s memoir The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy.
It’s the second dramatic feature by documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger (he’d probably rather forget Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2), who gave us the brilliant Paradise Lost trilogy. US reviews were mixed, but there was plenty of praise for Zac Efron‘s central performance. This being another of those Netflix/Sky Cinema films, it’s only getting a limited cinema release. So catch it while you can.
