Hot from For a Few Dollars More, Lee Van Cleef took centre stage in this rarely screened 1966 spaghetti western, which proved to be a career highlight.
He plays Jonathan Corbett, a feared Texan bounty hunter hired by a tycoon to hunt down Mexican peasant Cuchillo (Tomas Milian), who’s been falsely accused of murder. The mandatory Ennio Morricone score is particularly excellent.
