Middle class couple Ryota (Masaharu Fukuyama) and Midori (Machiko Ono) have their lives shaken up when they receive a phone call telling them that the six-year-old nipper they’ve raised is not their biological child. This causes Ryota to question his qualities as a father, especially when the couple meet the rough yet loving parents who have raised their biological son.
