Another instalment in Disney’s ongoing live-actionification of its animated classics. At just 64 minutes, 1941’s Dumbo was the Mouse House’s shortest feature. Needless to say, Tim Burton‘s makeover more than doubles that running length. Eva Green, Michael Keaton, Colin Farrell and Danny DeVito are among those sharing green screen space with the aurally gifted CGI airborne pachyderm.

Alas, old big-ears’ rodent chum Timothy Q. Mouse appears to have been exterminated as he’s not in the remake. Perhaps less surprisingly, Jim Crow the jive-talkin’ corvid has also been shitcanned.
