Bristol’s week in film: October 25-31 2019

It’s Halloween week and there are literally dozens of horror flicks being screened in many different venues, so we’ve gathered them all together in our Ultimate Halloween Film Guide. Follow the link above for the full lowdown.

Should you not wish to have the willies sacred out of you, there are plenty of alternatives on offer. The Watershed unleashes Singin’ in the Rain and Top Hat for half term as part of the BFI musicals season. New releases range from the umpteenth Terminator movie, Terminator: Dark Fate, to the much-acclaiemd The Last Black Man in San Francisco. On the arthouse front, there’s the provocative satire Chained for Life. Actor Adam Pearson will be at the Watershed on Saturday for a Q&A after this one.

You also have another chance to see Airplane! beneath the wings of Concorde, courtesy of the Bristol Film Festival.
