If you’ve been yearning to see Janine from The Handmaid’s Tale (Madeline Brewer, for it is she) and J-Lo pole dancing, this is the true-ish-life drama for you.
It’s based on a New York Magazine article from 2016, which revealed how a group of enterprising grifter strippers turned the tables on their rich bastard Wall Street clientele during the financial crisis of 2007-2008 by robbing them. Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Cardi B and Keke Palmer are among the multi-racial stripper crew, while Julia Stiles plays the journalist who uncovers their story.
