Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame
Epic double bill of the previous Avengers flick and the new one
Lots of new releases this week, ranging from Neil Jordan’s psychological thriller Greta to Red Joan with Judi Dench, Kenyan lesbian drama Rafiki, the Silvio Berlusconi story in Loro, a 4K restoration of The Goonies and rib-tickling US god-bothery flick (hey – it is Easter) Let There Be Light, which is produced by a right-wing Conservative chum of Donald Trump.
None of these are likely to set the box office chart on fire, and that’s because everyone’s steering clear of the next big superhero juggernaut. Due to blast its way into cinemas just after midnight on Wednesday, Avengers: Endgame is certain to become one of the year’s biggest hits. We’ve helpfully rounded up all your preview options below. These include the film itself in 2D and 3D and as a double-bill with its immediate predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War – also in 2D or 3D.
If you’d prefer something a little quieter, the Watershed’s exhaustive Hirokazu Kore-eda season gets into gear with two more screenings.
