An epic (two-and-a-half hours!) heist flick from Bone Tomahawk/Brawl in Cell Block 99 director S. Craig Zahler.
Vince Vaughn and a knowingly cast Mel Gibson play a pair of urban cops whose racism and excessive violence is caught on camera, leading to their suspension without pay. Desperate for cash, they get drawn into a bank robbery alongside black ex-con Tory Kittles. The film certainly takes its time, but anyone with a taste for hardboiled fatalism with lashings of Tarantino-esque dialogue should find plenty to enjoy.
