Neil Armstrong biopic First Man is the big new release in a packed week that also sees the welcome arrival of the Nic Cage heavy metal horror flick Mandy, a preview of Mike Leigh’s eagerly anticipated Peterloo with a satellite Q&A, and the unveiling of Peter Jackson’s much-hyped They Shall Not Grow Old.
It’s a big week for festivals too. Bristol Film Festival kicks off its autumn season with On Any Sunday, The Bristol Radical Film Festival occupies the Trinity Centre over the weekend, and Wildscreen 2018 kicks off on Monday.
