New Film Releases: April 5-11 2019

Horror remake Pet Sematary slugs it out with superhero movie Shazam! and kiddie cartoon Missing Link this week, with Happy as Lazarro and The Sisters Brothers being your arthouse choices. Kubrick’s classic A Clockwork Orange makes a welcome return to cinemas too.

There are previews of the Hellboy remake from Thursday and yet another kiddie cartoon, Wonder Park, from Monday – plus further previews of Wild Rose.

On the event cinema front, South West Silents presents the UK premiere of the new restoration of King of Kings at – where else? – Bristol Cathedral, while the NT’s new production of All About Eve with Gillian Anderson and Lily James is beamed live to cinemas.
