After a couple of spin-offs (The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie) this is a direct sequel to the 2014 Lego Movie, which was such a massive commercial and critical hit.

Five years on from the events of the first film, everything is no longer awesome as Duplo invaders set out destroy the Lego universe, reducing Bricksburg to a wasteland which everyone now terms ‘Apocalypseburg’. To defeat these dastardly, destructive foes, Emmet, Lucy, Batman and chums old and new must embark on a quest that takes them to strange new worlds – including a galaxy where everything is a musical.
