The ever-excellent Florence Pugh, of The Falling and Lady Macbeth fame, stars as British WWE wrestling champ Saraya ‘Paige’ Bevis in this sweet-natured, mildly feminist, true-life comedy drama which explores her struggles on the way to the big time.
It’s written and directed by Bristol’s very own Stephen Merchant and produced with his old chum Dwayne Johnson – himself a former WWE wrestler – with whom Merchant co-starred in Tooth Fairy. Johnson also has a cameo as himself.
