Made in 1976, Alfred Hitchcock‘s swansong is a playful, pleasingly amoral comedy thriller about the hunt for a missing heir. Barbara Harris plays a fake medium, wtih Bruce Dern as her dodgy boyfriend, who find themselves entwined with murderous wrong ‘uns William Devane and Karen Black.

The Watershed’s screening launches the April Early Scores of John Williams Sunday brunch season, which forms part of Filmic 2019. This one came just before Williams’ iconic score for Jaws, which turned him into a household name.
