Back in 1988, following the success of An American Tail, the Steven Spielberg/George Lucas-headed animation team set out to cutify dinosaurs with a heart-warming, sugary morality that would bring an embarrassed blush to the furry cheek of the most cuddlesome Care Bear. Don Bluth‘s feature has lovable orphaned apatosaurus Littlefoot teaming up with a lively quartet of fellow baby dinosaurs for an epic journey to the great valley, where they hope to be reunited with their families.
