One of Bath’s most popular purveyors of sandwiches is opening in Bristol for the first time.
Green Street are butchers, bakers and sandwich makers but will not have the butchers’ counter at their new home at 100 Victoria Street, instead promising “an even bigger food offering, more freshly baked goods, more coffee & hot drinks, and seating for up to 40 guests”.
Green Street are part of the Walcot Group, whose other venues include Walcot House and Solina Pasta in Bath, Little Walcot in Frome, and Mother & Wild in Corsham.

Writing on Instagram, the Green Street team said: “4 years ago we set up Green Street to source and supply the best meat we could find for our restaurants & locals.
“We could never imagine that what was meant to be ‘sell a few chicken sarnies’ in the corner to help pay the rent, would ever become what is now where we sell thousands of rotisserie sandwiches each week.
“Thanks to your relentless love for proper sandwiches, handmade bread from our bakers, and free-range meat from our butchers, we’re thrilled to announce that Green Street 2.0 is coming to Bristol…
“We’re beyond grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the past 4 years, and we can’t wait to become part of Bristol’s vibrant food scene.”
