Programmed and produced by Friends of Clifton Centre and Library, the inaugural Clifton LitFest boasts an excellent line up of writers, journalists, poets and performers in what looks set to be a weekend of stimulating, literature-related activity.

Those appearing include: legendary journalist and broadcaster, Jonathan Dimbleby; Bristol City Poet, Vanessa Kisuule; Bristol-based game-changing writer, editor and journalist, Nikesh Shukla; award-winning photographer, Martin Parr; bestselling thriller writer, Jane Shemilt; writer and food activist, Kalpna Woolf; and Mamma Mia creator, Catherine Johnson.
