Deli and cafe latest Bristol business to suffer break-in
The owners of an independent deli say a break-in in the early hours of Tuesday morning is “frustrating and sad”.
Papadeli on Alma Road is just one of several food businesses in Bristol to be broken into so far in May after Two Ways on Bond Street, Sandwich Sandwich on Queen’s Road and Cafe 56 on Colston Street.

One of Papadeli’s windows was smashed and CCTV captured a man entering the shop, which first opened in 2002.
Owners are hoping to be able to repair the damage as soon as possible.

“We don’t keep cash on site so he didn’t steal much,” Papadeli wrote on their Instagram account.
“This has been happening a lot to Bristol shops and businesses recently.
“As if it isn’t hard enough running a business!”
