Kate Bush ‘Wuthering Heights’ flash mob returns to Clevedon Marine Lake
Originating at Brighton Fringe in 2013 in a flash mob led by performance collective Shambush, the Kate Bush-inspired Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever has since spread all over the world.
From Europe to the US, Australia and New Zealand, groups donning red dresses have been reprising Bush’s famous choreography from what is perhaps her most celebrated song.
In the summer of 2025 at the Meadows Festival in Edinburgh, there were over 700 participants in the event.
is needed now More than ever
A flash mob held at Clevedon Marine Lake will be returning to the site for a second time on July 26, with dancers of all ages and experience levels encouraged to join.
They will be utilising the event to raise money for Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS).
