Ram-raiders target shop at petrol station

By Martin Booth  Friday Jun 26, 2026

Ram-raiders smashed their way into a shop in the early hours of Friday morning.

A police cordon remains in place around the Tesco Express next to the Esso garage on Henleaze Road.

Burglars struck the shop in Henleaze at around 12.55am, with two men stealing what police describe as “a large amount of tobacco products” while a third man waited outside.

“A number of enquiries have already been carried out and we will be using our resources to bring to justice those responsible.

“We would appeal to anybody with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage from Henleaze Road at around the time of the incident, as well as any similar footage from Twenty Acres Road where the vehicle was abandoned.
