New juice bar opens in Wapping Wharf

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Oct 17, 2018

Cold pressed juices have replaced hot pies in Cargo 1 at Wapping Wharf as The Juice Box moves into the converted shipping container previously occupied by Lovett Pies.

It’s the first permanent retail space for The Juice Collective, “providing delicious, nutritious and vitamin dense juice which can slot into your everyday”.

The juices here kept in a small fridge are already stocked in Bristol cafes including Society and Convoy Espresso.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Juice Box occupies a single converted shipping container

Made in Wiltshire, the cartons of juice cost £3.50 each or can be had as a “health shot” for £1.95.

Selections include the Ginger 01 comprising of carrot, apple, lemon and ginger; and the Green 02 with apple, cucumber, spinach, kale and lemon.

With its white walls, white tiles and splashes of greenery, The Juice Box has clearly been designed with Instagram in mind, as their own social media feed testifies.

It’s not just juice here, however, with coffee from Clifton Coffee and tea from Teapigs; and a food menu that includes £4.50 breakfast bowls of granola, overnight oats or porridge.

There are also two selections of toast for £5: the Instagram favourite avocado on toast, or with peanut or almond butter.

The Juice Box seems to be set up mostly for a take away trade, but there are half a dozen stools if you want to enjoy your juice among the whitewashed walls and foliage.
