‘Celebrating Bristol’s great food offerings has not got old’
BOX-E and Squeezed will be collaborating to create a unique menu, available exclusively at the EatDrink24/7 launch party in July.
Other than the Wapping Wharf neighbours, the event at the Wiper & True Brewery & Taproom will also see a collaboration between Big Nath’s and Danny’s Burgers.
Ahead of the event, both BOX-E and Squeezed said they were excited for a chance to celebrate Bristol’s thriving food and drink scene.

For BOX-E owners Elliott and Tessa Lidstone, who have been on the guide’s panel since the first edition in 2017, celebrating Bristol’s great food offerings “has not gotten old”.
“We’re excited to see what the 2026 guide brings and we can’t wait to cook up a collaborative storm with some of our food pals at the launch party,” said the husband and wife team.
Only a few feet away in another shipping container is Squeezed.

Owner of Squeezed Alex Hayes said: “I’ve had the pleasure of being on the panel for the EatDrink24/7 guide for a while and it’s always a great opportunity to pause and share reflective appreciation on Bristol’s food scene and remind ourselves how lucky we are!”
The chance to team up with Elliott and Tessa, Alex said, was a “no brainer”.
“I’ve massive respect for my BOX-E neighbours,” added Alex. “We’re going to be combining elements from both restaurants and creating a few bespoke and fun dishes for the evening – it’ll be a good one.”
While BOX-E opened in 2016, Squeezed brought its burgers and signature lemonades to Wapping Wharf in 2017.
Both businesses were among the first few to make the shipping containers the hospitality hub that it is today.
Alex continued: “Squeezed celebrates its ninth year in 2026. I’ll be honest, I never comprehended that I’d get this far.
“I’m eternally grateful for the support and for my team, past and present. We keep putting the love into what we create, despite all the challenges that we have faced and are still facing in the hospitality industry.
“We keep having fun. I think this shines through in our food.”
