It is the first independent venture from owners Iris and Fran, who have worked in hospitality for around a decade between them.
Serving generously filled sandwiches, Sando Gull joins a growing list of independent food businesses based at Wapping Wharf.
Alongside its sandwich menu, customers can expect homemade cakes, seasonal specials and dishes influenced by the founders’ backgrounds, including empanadas. Homemade iced teas and filter coffee are also available.

For Fran, opening at Wapping Wharf marks the realisation of a long-held ambition.
“A lot of the inspiration behind what we make comes from our Spanish and Argentinian roots, alongside all the years we’ve spent working in hospitality and around Wapping Wharf,” he said.
“Opening here honestly feels like a dream. There’s such a strong sense of community, both between the independent businesses and the people who come here, and we genuinely couldn’t imagine opening anywhere else.”
Sando Gull has taken over one of the kiosk units in Cargo Two, joining neighbouring businesses including Ernie’s Pizza, Spud Dock and Rice Box.
