Bowl of Plenty cafes to become more plentiful
A popular cafe that already operates in the Colston Hall will soon share its name with two other successful cafes across Bristol.
Bowl of Plenty was opened in the ground floor of the Colston Hall foyer in November 2018 by Liz Haughton, who will soon be rolling the concept out to her other two cafes.
Spike Island Cafe will officially become the second Bowl of Plenty during the Spike Island Open Studios weekend over the early May Bank Holiday, while the Folk House Cafe on Park Street is set to relaunch as Bowl of Plenty during Bristol Food Connections in June.

Liz said: “Following the launch of Bowl of Plenty at Colston Hall, we are excited to align our three cafes and streamline our menus, whilst allowing our chefs’ creativity to shine through in specials.
“As an independent trader, we are committed to being ethical in how we source organic and local produce for our dishes. It’s a no-brainer in this day and age, and is simply what we do.
“We care about where our food is from, how it is produced, how we cook it and who eats it. Our focus is to build welcoming spaces for the community.”
