Sergio Leone Weekend comes to the Bristol Megascreen
Ever wanted to see a gargantuan Man With No Dialogue, aka Clint Estawood? Well, you’re in luck. South West Silents are screening all three parts of Sergo Leone’s Dollars trilogy (A Fistful Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) on the Bristol Megascreen in the Aquarium over the weekend of April 18-19.

“We’re lucky enough to get the new 4K restorations from our friends at the Cineteca di Bologna and the Leone Film Group in Italy, so the audience are going to get the 100% authenticate Sergio Leone experience,” says James Harrison of South West Silents, who promises that the screenings will be not only be big but also loud.

And that’s not all. The weekend Leone blowout also includes the recent 4K restoration of Tonino Valerii’s My Name is Nobody (1973), starring Terence Hill and Henry Fonda, as well as a rare chance to see a silent film produced and directed by Sergio Leone’s father Roberto Roberti (aka Vincenzo Leone): Voglio a Tte! (1922)
