By Sarski Anderson  Monday May 18, 2026

Returning to 14 studio spaces and group venues in Henleaze, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym on the weekend of June 6-7, this year’s BS9 Arts Trail will be featuring 86 participating artists.

As ever, the event will showcase a startling breadth of talent in painting, sculpture, ceramics, crafts and jewellery-making, with pieces on sale ranging from £3-£3,000+.

The trail is easily accessible, and replete with cafés, toilets, bus routes and free parking.

Art fans working their way around are encouraged to collect stamps from every venue they visit; those with six or higher will be eligible to enter a draw to win original, locally produced artworks.

Amongst the donated prizes are an etching from Michelle Hinshelwood, a sculpture by Lisa Sacks, and watercolours painted by Olga van Rijswijck and Chris Dye.

Michelle Rose is a partner at VWV, who are sponsoring this year’s event. “We are delighted to support the BS9 Arts Trail again”, she enthuses.

“It’s a fantastic celebration of creativity, community and talent, bringing people together and showcasing Bristol’s artistic energy.”
