Bristol Gallery Weekend is back for a third successive year
Continuing to build on its success over the last two years, Bristol Gallery Weekend returns over the spring Equinox for its third iteration.
With a multitude of exhibitions, activities and special events planned in gallery, studio and social spaces across the city, the weekend aims to widen access to the Bristol contemporary art scene while championing its diversity and strength.
Participating venues include Rainmaker Gallery, where artist in residence Jason Wesaw will be undertaking a live paint, Frankenstein Press and Print Paradiso, both of whom are hosting private views, and galleries large and small, ranging from the RWA to The Laundrette, Circular ArtSpace, Room 212, The Stradling Collection, and L’Étoile Studio.

At the Upfest Shop, events include live window painting, copper plate printing with Rosie McLay, and an opening night group exhibition featuring Dave Bain.
Meeplenook in Totterdown will be hosting socials including the Art of Quiz and the Art of Game. And over at Spike Island, which is celebrating its 50th birthday in 2026, two resident artists will be opening up their studios on March 21 as part of Bristol Gallery Weekend.
