Eight female artists who met in the digital space exhibited together at KIT FORM

By Sarski Anderson  Tuesday May 12, 2026

Coming to KIT FORM on May 19, an innovative exhibition of eight female artists at varying points in their careers will showcase their work side-by-side for the first time.

Initially, all the women championed in Like: connected online. exhibited irl met one another in the digital space.

Central to the exhibition is an exploration of “how meaningful creative relationships can be built online”, as well as these connections can be deepened by “real-world community, collaboration and support”.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

The featured artists are Ellie Kerr-Smiley, Ellis King, Flo Lee, Heidi Clawson, Jasmine Rosten-Edwards, Katie Jones, Lucy Pass and Michelle Heron, all of whom have a distinct and complementary practice within painting and mixed media.

Several amongst them have appeared on Sky Arts’ Artist of the Year (Portrait and Landscape), and Heron, Pass and King have all won prestigious art prizes for their work in recent years.

As a group, they have already attracted collectors internationally – not least for the artistic breadth they represent.

The exhibition notes cite recurring themes including “identity, womanhood, memory and everyday experience”, and a collection that is “both personal and collective” in its scope.

“Emerging from a space often defined by speed, visibility and fleeting interaction, Like offers something more considered.

“It invites viewers to pause, to look more closely, and to reflect on the ways art helps us understand ourselves and each other.”
