Video: Massive Attack team up with Tricky

Massive Attack have teamed up with Tricky for the first time in more than 20 years.

Newly released EP Ritual Spirit features collaborations with Tricky, Young Fathers, Roots Manuva, and Azekel, with production by 3D.

The Hiro Murai-directed video for the Tricky collaboration Take It There stars actor John Hawkes. The last Massive Attack release featuring Tricky was the 1994 album Protection.

Knowle West-born Tricky began his career with Massive Attack before going solo career with his debut album Maxinquaye in 1995.

He will be playing at the 6 Music Festival in Bristol next month, while Massive Attack’s current UK tour takes in Manchester, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Brighton and London.
