Getdown Services announce biggest ever headline show
Following their massive international success, Getdown Services are one of the hottest acts in the alternative music scene right now.
Selling out venues from Toronto to Melbourne, and garnering the “super-fan” status of Troye Sivan, Walton Goggins and Joe Sims, the band’s momentum is higher than ever.
On Wednesday, an Instagram post announced their “biggest ever headline show” at Bristol Beacon on the January 16 2027, hosted by Breakfast Records. (Don’t worry, it’s not an April Fools joke!)

In their beloved and typical wit, which plays a big part in their music, the band say “We’re facing total bankruptcy if this falls on its arse!”
The duo is composed of Josh Law and Ben Sadler, who produce ‘refreshing’ indie music with influences from classic rock to eighties disco music.
The pair credit music venues a great deal for their cult following and success, saying “we believe the answer to some of society’s problems can be found in [music venues]”.
The exciting news doesn’t end there; Getdown Services have just released a single entitled ‘The Radiator’.
The song tells the tale of the band attempting to fix their broken radiator by banging on it until it is destroyed.
Metaphorically speaking, the “song is about only picking fights that you know you’ll win”.
The band bring their satirical storytelling, funky instrumentals, and chaotic live performance back to where it was born on June 24 at Bristol Sounds Festival; a teaser of what is to come next year at the Beacon.
