Body found in Bristol park

A man’s body has been discovered in a Cotham park.

Officers were called to Cotham Gardens on Tuesday at 7.45am after a member of the public raised concerns for an individual’s welfare.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Avon and Somerset Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

A large area of the park in Redland remains cordoned off as the investigation continues.
