The Mule

Director
Clint Eastwood
Certificate
15
Running Time
116 mins

It’s the annual Clint Eastwood movie, and he’s both acting and directing for the first time since Gran Torino ten years ago.

In a weird echo of Robert Redford’s The Old Man and the Gun, it’s a codger true-crime drama based on a newspaper article, in this case Sam Dolnick‘s The Sinaloa Cartel’s 90-Year-Old Drug Mule. That pretty much gives you the plot, with Eastwood playing a WWII veteran who became the world’s oldest and most prolific drug courier
