Mouthwatering start to Bristol Bears’ 2021/22 Premiership season against Saracens

The 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season will begin at Ashton Gate Stadium when Bristol Bears take on the newly promoted Saracens.

It will mean an immediate return to the West Country for Saracens duo Max Malins and Ben Earl who were on loan at Bristol last season, which ended in semi-final heartbreak against Harlequins.

Bristol prop Kyle Sinckler will also be lining up against his current British & Irish Lions colleagues including Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje.

The mouthwatering encounter against the former European and Premiership champions takes place at Ashton Gate on the evening of Friday, September 17.

Saracens are billing their home game against Bristol Bears as ‘The Showdown – Part 2’, taking place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (rather than at their usual StoneX Stadium) on the weekend of March 26.
