More city centre Metrobus roadworks
The next stage of Bristol’s Metrobus city centre works has started.
Massive heavy-duty piles are being drilled into the harbour wall foundations to create a link between Baldwin Street and St Augustine’s Parade.
In addition to the piling work Colston Avenue East (close to the White Lion) will be reduced from three lanes to two which will enable workers to realign the road.

The road is also closed from Colston Avenue on to St Augustine’s Parade.
The rapid transit bus system, is expected to open early next year.
