Homeware shop to host bakery pop-ups
A homeware and gift shop in Bedminster has announced three in-store pop-ups with different local bakeries to take place in upcoming months.
Mon Pote on North Street will host the events on its second-floor space.
The first pop-up will take place on July 18 and 19 in collaboration with Drizzle, a bakery on Christmas Steps.
The second is with Bake 16.17 on August 22, a one-woman business that can be found at markets and pop-ups.
The final collaboration will be with The Choux Box Patisserie on September 26, a bakery with three locations in Bath.
Mon Pote first opened on North Street in 2016, scaling up in 2020
Mon Pote selected the bakeries through an open application they promoted on social media in May.
The goal is to make use of the space above the shop and to promote local businesses and community connection.
Previously, the shop hosted a Makers Market for independent businesses which took place across November and December.
The staff hope that customers will come by the shop to browse its gifts, jewelry and homeware items before going to enjoy a drink and baked good upstairs.
