Cafe opens in former church hall
Sticky date and ginger, red velvet, and chocolate fudge cakes were among the sweet treats on the counter at the newly opened SouthBank Cafe on Tuesday morning.
They have all been made by the team at Bosh Kitchen who also make their home here at SouthBank on Dean Lane.
The former church hall has in recent years been a home for music, art and community in Bedminster, and can now be enjoyed as a cafe from Tuesday to Saturday.
As well as the cakes, the menu at SouthBank Cafe includes sandwiches for £6.95, soup and homemade focaccia for £6.50, and toasties for £5.80.
For smaller visitors, there are also ‘little bites’ of veg sticks (£2.50) and sandwiches (£4.50).
