Cafe to open in former restaurant
A popular cafe is branching out to a second location in Bristol.
Following the success of its original Park Row site, which opened in July 2021, Flour House founder Charly Kennedy describes the new venue as its “maturer, older sister”.
The cafe on North Street in Bedminster will feature an alcohol license which presents an opportunity for evening-time events such as live music.
It is opening in what used to be Kitchen by Kask, a pop-up restaurant space launched by the team behind Kask wine bar.

Charly hopes to provide a warm, welcoming environment that continues to uplift the “wonderful community of Bedminster”.
The food and drink menu will be smaller than the Park Row branch, showcasing a different local supplier each month.
The idea is to invite customers to learn more about small producers and where their food is coming from.
The space, which includes a substantial back garden, is undergoing a full renovation prior to opening up to the public.

The new spot is opening in the old Kitchen by Kask which recently announced its closure to focus solely on their two wine bars.
In a statement, the Kask team said: “It’s with happy hearts that we have closed Kitchen by KASK.”
They added: “You’ve all heard how tough it is out there for local restaurants and bars. Please keep supporting us all.”
