Founded in 2014 after former members of The Fall reunited to play a special one-off show following the launch of Steve Hanley’s autobiography Briz & The Extricated was born. Their live shows initially were built from Fall songs they had co-written but quickly began to include new material. Debut album, Part 2 released in 2017 and was hailed as one of the best indie-rock releases of the year. Wasting no time the band already have album number two on the horizon and Breaking State will release the day before the bands show at Thekla.
