This year’s festive horror comedy has been described, irresistibly, as Home Alone meets Funny Games.

Olivia DeJonge, whom you may remember from The Visit, plays the mandatory high-school blonde hottie babysitter charged with looking after a precocious 12-year-old kid on Christmas Eve. But then some menacing instruders turn up, whereupon things turn very nasty indeed and director Chris Peckover serves up an audacious twist.
