Something of a curtain-raiser for the Marillion’s sold-out show at the Colston Hall next month, this new film captures the Brit prog titans on stage at their first ever Albert Hall show, which took place last October and sold out within minutes a whole year in advance.
The spectacular two-part performance begins with a run-through of much-acclaimed current album Fuck Everyone and Run, which offers a cogent commentary on Trumpworld and Brexit. Part two comprises career-spanning material, augmented by In Praise of Folly and guests – a string quartet with flute and French horn.
