Five years ago, Kenyan farmer Kisilu Musya began using his video camera to document the ravages of climate change on his village. When he was caught up in a violent storm with Norwegian filmmaker Julia Dahr, they embarked on a collaboration that charted his transformation into a a global climate activist. Thank You for the Rain explores a number of issues related to climate change, including urbanisation, gender equality, education, access to water and climate refugees.

This Afrika Eye screening will be followed by a discussion.
