Course record broken at Bristol Track Club 5k 2026
Bristol Track Club‘s annual BTC 5k attracted some of the best club runners from across the UK.
BTC meet for weekly training sessions at Whitehall Athletics Track but have in recent years also become known nationally for their 5k race held not in Bristol but at Odd Down Cycle Track in Bath.
Elite runners race for prize money while runners of all levels are able to try for a new personal best.

Bristol & West was well represented on the day at Odd Down Cycle Track

Junior athletes took part in 3km races

A wheelchair race was held around the same 5km circuit

The first ever BTC 5k was held in 2021 and has since become a hugely popular annual fixture

Kader Omar (centre) broke the course record this year with a time of 13.47
